First edition was published in US by Penn Publishing Company in 1922.

Newnes issued the UK cheap edition and probably reprinted for several years from an unchanged textblock.

The copy shown is the first Newnes issue as Still William, published April 1925, is the last Crompton title listed in the blurb on the back panel. Still William was not reprinted until October 1925.

The dustjacket illustration is credited to Ellis Silas. The text is unillustrated.
