First edition was published by Nash & Grayson in February 1923 at 3/6.

Newnes probably reprinted for several years from an unchanged textblock. The copy shown is probably the first Newnes issue from 1924 as William - The Fourth is the last Crompton title listed in the blurb on rear panel.

This 2/6 cheap edition was illustrated by Thomas Henry who drew both the dustjacket and illustration within the textblock. The dustjacket design is in the familiar Just William format.

Undated. No front free endpaper. No rear free endpaper.
